Rohnit Roy is an 18-year-old founder and CEO of Digitalite Solutions. He is also the founder of The Head Story and TripooLink. His firm worked with more than 25 brands including Gillette, Flipkart, Cornitos, and many more. Their company provides services in media & market research and website development. Digitalite Solutions have worked with more than 100 start-ups, more than 15,000+ influencers, and completed more than 2000+ projects.
How did you get the concept or idea for your business?
“Me and my school friends came up with an idea to help MSMEs and startups in developing their websites and in Digital Marketing at a very affordable price. We helped more than 20 companies before the registration of our firm. Although we're doing it at a reasonable price, at the same time working on projects after projects we improved our quality.”
How do you advertise your business?
“We usually get referrals for work and we often contact our sales team and they pitch into clients for the project.”
What are your company's long-term goals?
“Initially we market ourselves as a marketing company but my long-term goal is to help MSMEs. We even worked for free to help them grow because we don’t see them from the business side. We got a lot of boost 2018-19 as during that period a lot of people want to be digitized. In 2020, we are also targeting small & local vendors and small production businesses in the e-commerce sector under the project globally.”
How many employees do you have?
Right now, we have a 25 people team which includes 10 people in sales. Initially, we were the only team of 5-6 people. I handle the website development work in the company as I’m certified as an ethical hacker
How is your business different from your competitors?
“Lot of people said to me my work is not very innovative but the difference we provide is that we offer services at a very affordable price than our competitors and we’re more into the research part. Instead of providing the services directly, we research their business, and then we suggest what we should provide as per their requirements.
